Six Boko Haram members killed in Kano by JTF
Six Boko Haram members were killed in Kano by the Joint Task Force which also saw the death of a soldier.
National Mirror has it that “The soldier, whose identity is withheld by the JTF was attached to the 3 Brigade, Kano, according to military sources. Saturday Mirror gathered that the bloody gun duel, followed an early hour raid by JTF on Sheka in Kano city.

The place is noted for the activities of Boko Haram and identified as one of the many hide-outs of gunmen operating in the state. Spokesman of the JTF, Ikedichi Iweha, an Army Captain confirmed yesterday’s operations that led to the death of seven persons, adding that at the end of the raid, assorted dangerous weapons, including explosives were recovered in a building that provided cover for the terrorists.
