The 2014 January transfer window was actively open for one month and some clubs made the most of it by strengthening their squads, here are the top ten transfers including Chelsea and Manchester United.
10.Lewis Holtby (Tottenham Midfielder Moved Joined Fulham on a loan deal)
9.Diego (Wolfsburg attacker opted to move to competitive to Atletico Madrid on loan)
8.Pablo Daniel Osvaldo (The out-of-favor Southampton striker was loaned to Italian champions, Juventus on Loan which could later be permanent)
7.Anderson Hernanes (The midfielder was in tears as his deal from Lazio to Inter Milan was finalised on a Permanent basis).
6.Yohan Cabaye (The French midfielder ended much speculation by dumping Newcastle United for the Parc De Prince on a Permanent move).
5.Aiden McGeady (Everton renewed interest from Spartak Moscow star for an Undisclosed fee was something of an opportunity he couldn’t refuse).
4.Mohamed Salah (The Egyptian winger’s move from FC Basel to Chelsea was an ideal one as his pace and tricks will be needed by the special one).
3.Radja Nainggolan (Nainggolan move to rival Roma was seen coming due to his fine display and consistency which attracted other top European clubs)
